Your location
For example: You share your location to a local Facebook-group. This will allow criminals very easily get the information that you are out of the house and it will be significantly easier to break in. You should avoid mentioning anything about your real-life location because even mentioning the city/town you are from will make it significantly easier to determine your exact location. You should also avoid posting pictures about the belongings inside your house because if criminals see anything expensive it could be a good reason to break in.
Obvious personal information
People should always avoid posting things such as credit card information, home addresses, phone numbers, ip addresses or medical information very seriously. Even though these things should obviously not be shared around in general people will still do it without thinking about the consciences. Your personal information should never end up in other peoples hands because not only it will be a huge risk to you but in some cases also your close ones.
Pictures of workplace
Its often against the workplace rules to take pictures during the job but people will often do it anyways. It would be in your best interest to not post anything work-related onto the social media because sharing the inside of your workplace can place the whole organization under the risk of breaking in.
